Born on the south coast of England, I moved to the west country at 23 and pursued a career in hairdressing, something I’ve had a passion for since I was very young. Being creative with hair and getting to make people feel good at the same time was such a bonus. Alongside this I continued to paint, clients would occasionally ask for art commission from me, making a dream I always had, to be able to paint for a living, feel like an actual future possibility.
I had my first child in 2019, then the world shut down. I taught myself how to make jewellery, and soon a hobby became a small income and Kiki+Leopard was born. Making pieces of wearable art in the most ethical and sustainable way I can. Now at 37, I’m finally feeling brave enough to put my paintings out into the world, not the paintings I was asked to paint, but the ones I paint for me. The ones I paint for therapy, for healing, for story telling and for the pure joy of finding my flow state. Putting them out there, for all to see. which feels a little terrifying. Thank you for being here!
I’m currently open for personalised jewellery commissions, and a select few art commissions. Please email me for enquiries.
